Your username cannot be anything stupid or vulgar. Your username is how everyone identifies you on the game. It is the name used to send PMs back and forth. If your username is anything vulgar like, ‘hottie with a body’ or stupid like, ‘yo mama’ I WILL delete your account!!
Characters:
Your character has 4 special aspects; its breed, its main element, its element, and its power.
The “breed” is what kind of creature it is. The breed can be anything. You can keep things traditional with elves, dragons, and werewolves, or, if you have created a creature of your own in your mind, you can bring it to life here! In other words, your character can be any mythical creature.
The “element” has two parts to it. The “element” is either fire, earth, air, or water. The “main element” is either darkness or light. If your character’s element is fire or earth, the main element is darkness. If your character is air or water, its main element is light. Characters in the category of Darkness are usually evil and characters in the category of Light are usually good. Your character’s personality should be based upon its element.
The “power” is an ability your character has. Every character starts out with only one power. Your character’s power cannot be too strong in the beginning. I determine if the power is too strong for a beginner. I explain more **here**.
Posting:
There are a few simple rules on posting in threads. First of all, do not double post (post after yourself). There is a setting where you can go back and edit any post. So don’t double post to say, “Oops, I meant ‘blah blah yadda yadda yadda’.” That kind of thing can get your account disabled for a day.
Also, when RPing, you cannot say, “Susanne hit the girl in the head, leaving her unconscious.” That is considered power playing. You can only say, “Susanne thrust her hand towards the girl’s face, hoping to make contact and knock her unconscious.” The other player will decide whether or not they get hit.
No regular chit-chatting in an RP thread. We have a C-box at the bottom of the page where you can talk to other players. There is also a special board called “General/Out of Character Chatting” where you can talk to others. ^.^
This is a PG-13 rated site, so I try to let some things slide. Characters are allowed to have mates, and are allowed to…er…get their freak on. If you decide to create a thread that has ‘freaking’ in it, please make a warning in the title by putting the word “sex” in parenthesis. One thing I won’t let slide is cursing. Curse words are censored, so if you post a curse word and go back to your post and it is all ****ed up, don’t be surprised.
This implies another rule: be nice to the other players!! It’s OK if your characters are enemies, but that doesn’t mean YOU have to be enemies, too. If anybody is being disrespectful to you, please PM me. If you have proof, I will take care of it by disabling their account for three days.
